American Legion Post 160 of West Seattle in partnership with Forest Lawn Cemetery and Funeral Home of West Seattle will be holding a service in observance of Memorial Day on May 25, 2015 at 2pm.

If you have a Gold Star Mother, from the Seattle area, who is available to represent your organization and willing give a brief speech regarding Memorial Day we would very much enjoy putting her on the schedule.

Bugle to the Colors, Presentation of Colors, guest speakers, music, laying of wreaths, rifle salute, Echo Taps, 1 p.m., Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th St., Kent (425-432-6516).

Meet Henry from Boulevard Brewing! We’ll be tapping some fun kegs and also trying out some of their great year-round beers out of bottles. $4 tasting fee, half of which goes to the VFW.

Update: The tasting went great. I want to thank all of those who attended. We raised $180 dollars to help Veterans in need. A Special thank goes out to the Beer Junction and Boulevard Brewing, without these two great companyies this would not have been a success. I snapped a few photos during the tasting.
