Beer Tasting with New Belgium and the Beer Junction on 11/10.

I want to thank all of those who came out to sample some of New Belgium’s finest on 11/10/11. We raised $135 for the post which will greatly benefit veterans in the Seattle area. I also want to thank Morgan and Allison and the Beer Junction, you guys are great and we look forward to working with you at your new space on Memorial Day.

In honor of Veterans Day, and the Marine Corp birthday, the post will be on hand at the Beer Junction in West Seattle from 5pm -8pm. New Belgium Brewing will be sampling some of their finest brews including their seasonal beer Snow Day.

Tasting fees are $4 with half of the proceeds going to veterans of the West Seattle VFW. We hope to see you there this Thursday.

Steve Wood from New Belgium returns! New Belgium is now the 3rd largest craft brewery in the U.S. and in 1998 became the first wind powdered brewery in the country. They’ve also racked up 25 Great American Beer Festival awards (their Abbey Ale, which we’ll be trying tomorrow night, has won 8 of those medals!). In addition to the 5 beers in the lineup below, we’ll also be breaking into either the Lips of Faith Super Cru or Grand Cru and Steve is bringing a growler of a draft only release!
