This is not a usual post but it caught my attention. Apparently rapper Soulja Boy decided it was a great time to rap “F^*k the FBI, and F^*k all the Army troops”. I’m not sure if he realizes the 10th anniversary of 9/11 is coming up, but to come out and disparage soldiers at anytime, especially during wartime is just plain ugly.
As a response, Army Sgt Dunson created a “diss” song. You can listen to it here.
*Currently there are petitions asking for his album to be pulled from PX’s at military bases worldwide.
He has since apologized.
Good. I do think the response song is better though.
Yes he has apologized but who cares, he wrote those words which means he thinks that. Plus he has offered any military free admission to his concerts but you know what all good artists offer free concerts to military anyway so why would we let him buy our forgiveness when we dont need it. Many good artists even fly overseas to give free concerts to our soldiers without needing to have a motive behind it.
